is a midsize, China (Tibet and Chengdu) based company specializing in group and tailor-made travels to west are of China include the Roof Of The World-Tibet. Offering quality arrangements for tours to Tibet and China.


The ChinaTibetTravel.net brings travelers closer to the cultures of the China Tibet on holidays which are not only interesting but also relaxing and fun.

Mr. Tang Jun, the owner and founder of ChinaTibetTravel.net, has experience in Tibet stretching back since 1993 with much of that time spent on organizing and guiding group tours and treks.


What follows is a brief resume of Tangjun's tour/trek guiding work and other experience:


1993/1995 Living in Tibet as local English speaking tour guide; Traveled nearly everywhere of Tibet; Two trips to the north of Tibet seek for the wildlifes;


1996 Lead the first ever expedition by UK driven trucks, traveling from Islamabad to Hong Kong via the South Taklamakan desert; Traveling from Kathmandu to Beijing via Tibet; Traveling from Islamabad to Beijing along the silk road; Lead the tour groups traveling to Beijing/Xi'an/Shanghai/Guilin etc.


Since 1996 been the local agent for EXODUS,one of the leading travel companies of UK,expedition trips (Self driving) in China and Tibet.


1997/1999 Start own tourism business in Tibet; Tour guide in Tibet; Guided the first birding trip to Tibet from Bird Quest; Facilitator and interpreter (English/ Tibetan) on Peking to Paris Vintage Car Rally from Peking to Kathmandu via Tibet in 1997;

2000/2001 Founded China Tibet Himalayas Travel Co.Ltd in 2000 in Tibet; Facilitator and interpreter (English) for the Around the World in 80 Days Classic Car Rally (Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kirghizstan, China) from Islamabad to Peking in 2000.Lead the first birding trip organized by Hong Kong Birding Association 25 days to the remote area of western Tibet; Lead and organized two golf trips from Tanwan and Malaysia to the east of China


2002 - Founded ChinaTibetTravel.net; Set up Chengdu and Beijing branch offices

2005-Lead and orgnized the first worldwide tournament to China with 73 participants from Greencard Golf UK 

2006-local agent for Ornitholiday UK; second Greencard worldwide tournament China 2006 stop with 36 players

2007-local agent for Birdtour Asia 

2008-local agent for another top adventure company based in UK named Oasis Overland on their China overland program.

2008-local agent for Birdwatching Breaks UK  ;
