Mr. Tang Jun, the owner and founder of ChinaTibetTravel.net, has experience in Tibet stretching back since 1993 with much of that time spent organizing and guiding group tours and treks for one of the UK's leading travel companies-Exodus.
What follows is a brief resume of Tang Jun's guiding work and other experience:
1993/1995 Living in Tibet as local English speaking tour guide; Travelled almost everywhere of Tibet;
Two trips to the north of Tibet seek for the wildlifes;
1996 Lead the first ever expedition by UK driven trucks, traveling from Islamabad to Hong Kong via the South Taklamakan desert;
Traveling from Kathmandu to Beijing via Tibet; Traveling from Islamabad to Beijing along the silk road;
Lead the culture tour groups traveling from Beijing/Xi'an/Shanghai/Guilin etc.
Since 1996 do all arrangements for EXODUS expedition trips (Self driving program) in China and Tibet.
1997/1999 Start own tourism business in Tibet; Tour guide in Tibet;
Guided the first birding trip to Tibet from UK Bird Quest;
Facilitator and interpreter on Beijing to Paris Vintage Car Rally from Beijing to Kathmandu via Tibet in 1997;
2000/2001 Founded China Tibet Himalayas Travel Co.Ltd in Tibet;
Facilitator and interpreter (English) for the Around the World in 80 Days Classic Car Rally (Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kirghizstan, China) from Islamabad to Peking in 2000.
Lead the first birding trip organized by Hong Kong Birding Society (HKBS) 25 days to the remote area of western Tibet;
Lead and organized two golf trips from Tanwan and Malaysia to the east of China;
2002 Founded ChinaTibetTravel.net; Set up Chengdu branch office;
2003 Leaded birding tours to Beidaihe and Shanxi Yang Xian and Qinling NR area.Guided birding tours to Qinghai and Tibet plateau.
2004 Local agent as GREENCARD TOUR UK and leaded the first golf tour with 75 participants.
2005/2007 Became the local agent of several birding companies to look after their birdwatching tours in western China include Tibet:

Each year except 2008 as the earthquake in Sichuan.

March 2010, set up China Tibet Youth Travel Service (CYTS) Chengdu Branch.
