Project Name: Qingquan Village Kindgarten Drinking Water Supporting System Improving & Rebuilding Two Filter Ponds

Project  Site: Qingquan Village,Jiulong Town,Mianzhu Cuty, Sichuan Province,P.R.China 

项目背景: 1、在69志愿者的帮助下,牦牛在九龙镇调查需要帮扶的困难群众对象时,了解到当地居民的饮用水来源于井水和山溪水,震后水质量和成分发生一定变化,科学的观点来讲,不能直接饮用.震后一直由红十字会提供的大型净水设施处理过后的水,但是随着9月的红十字会以及设备的撤离,饮水成为当地一个急需解决的问题.特别是幼儿园的孩子们. 2、该村6组32户约150人的饮水来至于山涧水过滤池水，地震已经损坏2个过滤池（5M*4M*2M）,现在居民直接饮用没有过滤的山涧水;

Background: Local drinking water is directly from steams and wells, but after the quake,the quality and componets of the water changed and can not be drinked directly as normal.So before the local goverment rebulid up the watre supporting system, it is a urgent case to help the local residents and especially the 120 kids of the kindgarten to set up a temportary filter system to improve the water quality.

项目捐赠人和金额: 美国的BETSY DAMON女士以及她朋友们捐赠美金4500合计人民币30150元,定向使用在饮用水设施和质量的改进方面的援助.

项目预计达到的目标: 1、通过建立和购备设施，来改善提高该村幼儿园以及周围居民共计约350-400人的日常饮用水条件；争取使用到当地政府建立起相关供水设施； 2、援助该村6组修复2个被损坏的蓄水过滤池；

Project Purpose: 1,Improving the quality of the drinking water for the kindgarten plus the surrounding residents total about 400 people by means of set up a filter system which can be used till the goverment rebuilding the water system;2,help to rebuliding the two filter ponds;

9月15日，唐军已经陪同BETSY DAMON女士在69志愿者苍岩、廖平、蓓蓓等陪同帮助下，前往九龙镇实地考察，走访了清泉村的几个组并深入到大队，考察了目前饮水条件并查看了使用的水井；

15th Sep.Ms Besty Damon visited Jiulong Town and surround villages to investigate the water support ing system accopanied by Mr Tang Jun from Yak Team and Cangyan,Liaoping,Peipei from 69 Team based at local.

9月21日，唐军和BETSY DAMON女士在成都达成援助协议，指定牦牛队和唐军作为全权负责人，实施该援助项目；

21th Sep. Ms Betsy Damon agree to set up a project to help improving the water supporting system at Jiulong Town and appoint & authorize Yak Team and Mr Tangjun as the project implementor .

9月22日,在69自愿者廖平等的帮助下,已经取得当地水质检验报告；

22th Sep. By the help of 69 Team, got the report of local drinking water quality. 

9月27日，69自愿者蓓蓓提供了一家天津净水设备公司的产品信息；后来经过联系,考虑到运程太远,因为运输的费用由使用者承担;故决定在成都寻找设备提供厂家;

27th Sep. Ms Peipei from 69 Team provide some information of a company based at Tianjin city which can make this kind of water filter system. After the negotiation and due to the too far transportation distance and the reason of the costs. Thus decide to find a local supportor based in Chengdu. 

10月7日,联系到成都本地的四川浦清水处理设备公司,联系人:辛工程师和殷小姐 该公司有在灾区建设水处理系统的经验;详细地给对方介绍了我们的计划,并希望对方把我们的公益性考虑到对方将给我们提供的方案和价格之中;

7th Oct. Contact Chengdu PQ Water Industry Co.Ltd. Contact: Engineer: Mr Xin and Ms Yin. http://www.pqwater.com This is a water flitering company based in Chengdu and have lots of experience to help the quake area to rebuild the water supply system after 512. After detalied introduced this project and our limited budget,hope this company can provide a good plan plus the costs after deep considering the public welafre of this project.

由于常规工作的原因以及出差耽误,一直到11月11日,才再次和浦清公司商谈方案的细则.对方根据他们的灾区经验建议:一条线简单杀菌处理,可以作为日常生活用水;一条线相对专业处理,几乎可以保证直接饮用;由于没有现成的设备可以使用,故需要定做,对方承诺尽快拿出方案和经济的价格;

Because Tang Jun's a long business trip,upon the return on 11th November. Contact to PQ Water Industry again regarding the details of the plan for the project. Base on the information we provided and according to  their experience at the quake area. PQ Water suggested: one line for a normal disinfection can be used as daily using water and another side for professional desinfection can be drinked directly. But have to have this equipment made in order.PQ Water promise a soonest order and good price.

11月14日,浦清公司提出方案、设备定做清单，工艺(砂滤→碳滤→超滤→紫外→自吸泵)以及价格。最后价格为人民币8000元/成套设备（市场价格据浦清申明在12000以上），该设备将可以解决400人以内的日用水处理，将尽快在2星期之内制作出来并交付给牦牛队。费用不包含税金、运输至安装的地点以及安装费用，但是提供电话安装指导。

14th Nov. PQ Water provide a plan include a set of equipments and filter materials for 400 people daily water supporting system on Chines CNY8000 total which is supposed more than Chinese CNY12000 but not include the tax,transportation fee and installation. The order can be finished in two weeks.

12月2日,浦清公司通知说设备已经定做完备,唐军以及牦牛队的刘劲松前往该公司和辛总经理/工程师会见,并详细听说关于该设备的使用介绍以及工艺流程.并约定12月4日提取设备,并免费安排技术人员一同前往九龙安装使用.在此,对浦清公司的大力帮助表示衷心感谢.

2nd December The order is manufactured by PQ Water and Tangjun with Liu Jinsong another member of the Yak Team meet with the GM/Engineer of the PQ Water Mr Xin. After a detailed intuduce of the set and appreciated his help on a free engineer to Jiulong for installation and good price.

12月4日 牦牛救援的唐军、刘劲松上午前往浦清公司提取定做的设备，并安排好运输的事宜。下午抵达绵竹九龙镇，在浦清公司免费提供的2位工程师的大力协助之下，终于安装调试完备，并交付给幼儿园的岳院长使用。
在此牦牛救援队特别感谢69自愿者苍岩和廖平以及等等相关人士和机构的大力协助，得以此项目圆满完成。

4th December Tang Jun plus Liu Jinsong from Yak Team pick up the equipment from PQ Water,accompanied by two engineers from the company,head to Jiulong Town,Mianzhu City to intall.Tang Jun hand over the sets to Ms Yue who on behalf of the Kindgarten and the local residents,thus the projet for the kindgarten ends succefully.
